S710XX

A couple of months of wear

I guess it’s about god damn time for another update. This time around I’m introducing my relief pair for winter; Samurai’s oh so popular cut in the west: the 710. I got these second hand for cheap on the Swedish version of Ebay last fall, hence the mark on my left backpocket that you won’t find on my other pairs – a can of snus. The top button was almost loose which I suppose held the price down. Nothing a hammer and some ultraviolence can’t fix.

For the uninitiated the 710 is heavier than the 0500, 19 oz vs  15 oz. It’s a slim straight cut that comes with a long ass inseam. A good call for those who want to have a go at stacking instead of cuffs. I decided to have mine hemmed by a friend for a cleaner look with a double cuff.

They won’t really get a lot of wear for quite some time as I’m planning to beat my Steel Feathers properly next winter. It’s a lovely pair of jeans though; a great cut with nice denim that turns out bloody awsome in the long run.
